Your child might benefit from the Easy EatingSM program at TherapyWorks if he or she has:

 

n Difficulty transitioning from tube to oral feeding.

n Poor weight gain or failure to thrive.

n Poor oral-motor skills

   - Low muscle tone, tightness or tongue thrust

n GERD or acid reflux

n Restricted range or variety of foods.

   - Eats less than 20 different foods

n Choking, coughing, gagging, vomiting or crying during mealtimes.

n A limited diet.

   - Only eats certain colors, textures or tastes

n Anxiety or poor behavior during mealtimes or refuses to eat.

Our feeding team will teach the developmental skills for eating and introduce food in non-threatening ways to promote competence instead of fear.
