We offer full-time and part-time positions for Physical Therapists and Assistants, Occupational Therapists and Assistants, and Speech-Language Pathologists and Assistants. Sometimes TherapyWorks will offer PRN positions based on need as well. We have positions available in our Tulsa clinic and positions treating directly in schools throughout Eastern and Central Oklahoma.

Our school therapists receive full benefits while following the school calendar year and enjoying school holidays and summers off. Part-time positions come with benefits based on the number of hours worked.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Clinic
Job Description: As a Pediatric Speech Therapist at TherapyWorks you will work closely with children and their families to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. You will develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each child’s unique needs, fostering their communication skills, and maximizing their potential for success. This position requires the candidate to have already obtained their Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Pediatric experience preferred.

Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Outpatient Clinic
PT Job Description: The Pediatric PT will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating children with a variety of developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. You will develop and implement therapy plans, facilitate exercises and activities, and assist children in achieving their developmental milestones.
PT Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise to address balance, coordination, and gross motor skill challenges in children within a clinic setting.
- Conduct evaluations, set achievable goals, administer treatments, and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs).
- Comfortably navigate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Opportunity for comprehensive training.
- Educate and instruct caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs to support ongoing progress.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and patient records.
PT Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact compassionately and effectively with children and families.
- Knowledge of pediatric anatomy, physiology, and developmental milestones.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting the well-being of pediatric patients.
PTA Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, care plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with clinic policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures within the clinic environment.
PTA Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and physical therapy practices.
- Experience in acute care, orthopedics, or outpatient settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and care plan development.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

School Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students in a school setting. The SLP or SLPA will provide therapy services to children with speech, language, communication, and related disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students achieve their communication goals and committed to creating a positive, supportive learning environment. Sign on bonus available.
Full-Time: This is a full-time position and follows a 9-month school schedule. You will continue to have benefits year-round.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
For SLP:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders and determine students’ eligibility for services.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and treatment plans based on evaluation results, student needs, and school goals.
- Therapy Delivery: Provide individual and group therapy sessions focusing on speech sound production, language development, fluency, voice, and communication needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and generalization of skills in the classroom and at home.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, IEPs, and assessments in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Supervision: If applicable, supervise the work of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and other support staff.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on current practices, research, and regulations in speech-language pathology, and participate in school-based professional development activities.
For SLPA:
- Assist with Therapy: Provide therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP, following established treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Data Collection: Collect and document student performance data during therapy sessions and report progress to the supervising SLP.
- Support Services: Assist in the preparation of materials, scheduling of therapy sessions, and coordination of group activities.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support the implementation of student communication goals.
- Administrative Duties: Help maintain student records, therapy logs, and other required documentation as directed by the supervising SLP.
Qualifications:
For SLP:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (Certificate of Clinical Competence, CCC-SLP).
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
- Understanding of special education laws, including IDEA and IEP processes.
For SLPA:
- Certificate of Speech-Language Pathology Assisting from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure/certification as an SLPA.
- Experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting.
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
